We are proud to have been running basketball in Belshill now for 4 years. 

• The senior mens team has evolved and is now in the Leagues and playing well. They play under the name "Calder Cobras" so look out for them !
  
  
• Basketball training is held at Cardinal Newman High School on Mondays and Thursdays; 8pm to 10pm, during schoolterm time.  All welcome and there is no joining fee.
  
  
• We are trying to start up womens basketball - so please get in touch if you are interested.
  
  
• We are also looking at starting a junior team and again looking for young people - even if you haven't played before.  Training is likely to be on a Saturday unless we can find a cheap hall in the evening 
  
  
• We would like to encourage people to try wheelchair basketball - hopefully if we can find funding then we can start this - and if you would like to progress there is a wheelchair basketball team in Glasgow who play at Langside College.
  
  
• Basketball is a fun sport suitable for those who have some sort of disability.
